Theatre Arts Workshops
In this hands-on learning workshop, middle and high school students work with theatre professionals on playwriting, set design, props, directing, costumes, hair and make-up, lighting, stage management, acting, movement, and/or stage combat. School groups will rotate through four different workshops in the Byham Theater over the course of the day. The Theatre Arts Workshop provides insight into the theatre profession: a field full of creative and exciting careers. Students and educators alike learn skills that can be applied to life inside and outside of the theatre during their experience in the iconic Byham Theater.
